Entry Requirements:
EU Home Students:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, economics, or business administration.
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 (German grading system).
- Nachweis über Deutschkenntnisse auf dem Niveau B2 des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens (GER) (e.g., TestDaF or Goethe-Zertifikat).
- International applicants may need to demonstrate additional proficiency in academic writing and research skills.
International Overseas Students (Outside the EU):
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, economics, or business administration, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (German grading system).
- Nachweis über Deutschkenntnisse auf dem Niveau B2 des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Referenzrahmens (GER) (e.g., TestDaF or Goethe-Zertifikat).
- International students also need to meet one of the following requirements:
- Minimum score of 90 on the TOEFL iBT, 7.0 on the IELTS Academic, or 600 on the paper-based TOEFL.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- All applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
- This can be achieved through:
- A minimum score of 90 on the TOEFL iBT, 7.0 on the IELTS Academic, or 600 on the paper-based TOEFL.
- International applicants may also need to demonstrate proficiency in German at the B2 level of the CEFR, depending on their chosen Master's program at the TUHH.
