Program Overview

The 4+4 Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) program with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) offers a unique opportunity for Lycoming College students to pursue a career in osteopathic medicine. The program emphasizes a "whole-person" approach to healthcare and provides students with a strong foundation in the basic sciences, clinical skills, and osteopathic principles. Graduates are eligible to take the national licensing exam to become osteopathic physicians and can work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
