Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


For Australian citizens and permanent residents:

  • A completed Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) with at least an ATAR of 55.15.
  • Successful completion of Units 3 and 4 of English (EAL) or equivalent with a minimum of C+.
  • Completion of relevant prerequisite subjects, such as Biology and Chemistry.
  • Achievement in one of the following: Mathematics Methods or Specialist Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.
  • For mature-aged applicants (21 years or older): completion of a Diploma in Science or relevant equivalent qualification.

For international students:

  • An equivalent qualification to the Australian Year 12 with a minimum of 70%.
  • Completion of relevant prerequisite subjects, such as Biology and Chemistry.
  • Achievement in one of the following: Mathematics Methods or Specialist Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry.

Additional requirements for international students:

  • An IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no band lower than 6.0.
  • A TOEFL score of 90 (internet-based) with a minimum of 22 in writing.
  • A PTE Academic score of 65 with a minimum of 58 in all communicative skills.
