Admission Requirements
Entry Requirements
Domestic Students:
- Year 12: ATAR of 75
- Diploma: Completion of a La Trobe Diploma or equivalent qualification with a minimum GPA of 5.0
- Pathway Programs: Successful completion of a La Trobe Pathway Program with a minimum GPA of 5.0
- Mature-age Students: Applicants who are 21 years or older may be eligible for entry based on work experience or other qualifications.
International Students:
- High School: Completion of high school with a GPA equivalent to 75 ATAR or higher
- English Language Proficiency:
- IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 80 with no section less than 20
- PTE Academic: Overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50
- Other Qualifications:
- Students with other qualifications may be eligible for entry based on an assessment of their academic record and English language proficiency.
Language Proficiency Requirements
International Students:
- IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 80 with no section less than 20 However, students are strongly encouraged to have a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Additional Requirements
- All applicants are required to submit a personal statement and a resume.
- International students may also be required to submit a financial declaration.
