Modules:

  • Professional Practice in Education (45 credits): Covers teaching practice, including teaching and lesson planning (200-220 hours) and self-study (216 hours).
  • School Data (15 credits): Includes lectures/seminars (10 hours) and self-study (140 hours).
  • Studying Policy & Professional Practice (30 credits): Features lectures/seminars (25.5 hours) and self-study (274.5 hours).
  • Focused Pedagogical Studies (30 credits): Consists of lectures/seminars (200 hours) and self-study (100 hours).

Teaching placements:

Approximately 120 days in secondary schools, including a short period in primary schools (4 days).


Learning commitment:

  • Equivalent of 50+ days of academic sessions at King's.
