Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • A-levels: AAB including Chemistry, and one of Biology, Physics or Mathematics.

International Overseas Students (outside the EU):

  • International Baccalaureate: 36 points overall, including 6 in Higher Level Chemistry, and 6 in one of Higher Level Biology, Physics or Mathematics.
  • Other qualifications: Equivalent qualifications to those required for EU Home Students, as assessed by King's College London.
  • Applicants are required to have studied Chemistry to a level equivalent to A-level.
  • Applicants who have not studied Biology, Physics or Mathematics to A-level will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English will need to meet the English language proficiency requirements.

Language Proficiency Requirements:


IELTS:

  • Overall score of 7.0, with no less than 6.5 in any band.

TOEFL iBT:

  • Overall score of 100, with no less than 23 in any section.

PTE Academic:

  • Overall score of 70, with no less than 65 in any skill.

Cambridge English Language Assessment:

  • Advanced (CAE): Grade C.
  • Proficiency (CPE): Grade C.
