- GCSE English Language or Literature grade C or above or equivalent.
- GCSE Mathematics grade C or above or equivalent.
- Two other GCSE qualifications at grade D or above or equivalents.
International Overseas Students (including EU students with overseas qualifications):
- IELTS 6.0 with no individual element below 5.5 or equivalent.
- GCSE English Language grade C or above or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized high school program with a strong background in Greek, including at least four years of study of the language.
- Completion of a recognized high school program with a strong background in Ancient Greek, including at least two years of study of the language.
- Completion of a recognized high school program with a strong background in Classical Studies. This should typically include at least one year of study of Ancient Greek.
All Applicants:

- Interest in the Greek language and culture.
- Ability to commit to the workload of the course.
It is important to note that these are the minimum entry requirements. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee a place on the course. The decision on whether or not to offer a place will be based on the applicant's overall academic record and their personal statement.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
The course is delivered in English. Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their English language proficiency by providing one of the following:
- IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in each element.
- TOEFL iBT 92 overall, with a minimum of 20 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 22 in Writing.
- PTE Academic 64 overall, with a minimum of 59 in each element.
- CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) grade C.
- CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) Grade C. It is important to note that these are the minimum language proficiency requirements. Applicants with a higher level of English language proficiency may be accepted onto the course.
