Program Overview

The New Product Development program at Cerritos College prepares technicians for careers in the automotive aftermarket and professional service industries. The program provides students with the academic background and hands-on skills necessary to take a product idea from concept to market, including design, prototyping, assembly, troubleshooting, and testing. The program is structured in three levels, covering fundamentals, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing and product improvement.
