Program Overview

Queen Mary University of London's Intercalated Pre-Hospital Medicine program provides specialist training in caring for critically ill or injured patients before hospital arrival. This one-year program, offered after the third or fourth year of medical school, combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills and real-world experience through placements and field trips. Graduates are equipped for postgraduate training in pre-hospital emergency medicine and other acute care specialties.
