Certificate of Proficiency Postgraduate – CoP Postgrad

The Certificate of Proficiency (Postgraduate) is not a formal qualification. The courses you apply for may be interest courses or you may want to study them to prepare you for studying another qualification in the future.

  • This Certificate is for those intending to complete only 1 or 2 courses at postgraduate level.

Entry Requirements

Admission to Massey

  • All students must meet university entrance requirements to be admitted to the University.

  • This will normally mean that you will need to provide copies of all official academic transcripts for studies taken at all universities other than Massey University.

Structure of the Certificate of Proficiency Postgraduate

  • You may take 60 credits providing the courses you choose are not substantially similar to an existing qualification.
  • In this case, you would need to apply for the existing qualification.
  • You will need to apply for any courses that have specific prerequisite requirements via Special Request/Special Permission.

  • Credits: Each course is worth a number of credits.
  • Specialisations: Some qualifications let you choose what subject you'd like to specialise in.

  • The Certificate of Proficiency (Undergraduate) is not eligible for fees free as it is not considered an official qualification.
