Program Overview

The New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2) at NMIT empowers young individuals (16+) to develop skills and confidence for further study or entry-level employment. This 19-week program offers a supportive and engaging environment with hands-on activities, dedicated tutors, and project-based work. It provides pathways to NMIT Level 3+ programs or various career opportunities in sectors like hospitality, trades, and hairdressing.
