Program Overview

The New Zealand Certificate in Apiculture (Level 3) is an eight-month blended learning program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to manage beehives and work in the beekeeping industry. Through block courses, online modules, and hands-on experience, students learn about bee behavior, hive construction, honey production, and pest management. Graduates are prepared for roles as assistant beekeepers, independent beekeepers, or can pursue further training in specialized areas.
