Program Overview

This Te Pūkenga program teaches students the basics of te reo Māori, including cultural concepts, pronunciation, greetings, songs, and language. Through hands-on learning, students develop confidence in using te reo and tikanga Māori in everyday life. The program includes assessments such as preparing and delivering a paku mihi, performing waiata, and demonstrating understanding of karakia usage.
