Program Overview

The Compass Compensation Training Scheme from NMIT is an online program that allows aircraft maintenance engineers to develop the skills needed to construct, install, and maintain compass systems. Upon successful completion of the AMEL Compass Compensation Exam 16, students earn NZQA Unit standard 20903 and can pursue careers as licensed aircraft maintenance engineers. The program is designed for flexible learning while working, with a duration of 56 weeks and a workload of approximately 23 hours per week.
