Program Overview

The Bachelor of Sport and Recreation from NMIT, offered by AUT, is a one-year program that builds on the skills and knowledge gained in Level 5 and 6 Sport, Recreation and Exercise diplomas. Students will gain a deeper understanding of human physiology and learn how to work with individuals to improve their health, fitness, sport, and recreation. Graduates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to work in the fitness industry in various roles, such as personal trainer, fitness center worker, or coach.
