Program Overview

The Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is a 52-week program that prepares students for a career in early childhood education and care. The program includes 17 units of competency, including core units on supporting inclusion and diversity, supporting children's health, safety, and well-being, and nurturing babies and toddlers. Students must also complete a minimum of 160 hours of work-based training in a regulated children's education and care service in Australia.
