- Human anatomy and physiology I & II with lab (8 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours)

- Organic chemistry with lab (8 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours)
- Microbiology or immunology with lab (4 semester hours or equivalent quarter hours)

Professional Prerequisites:
- At least 1000 hours of paid healthcare experience (e.g., certified nursing assistant, emergency medical technician) within the past five years.
- Completion of a minimum of 20 hours of observation in a physician assistant setting within the past year. This must be verified by the supervising PA. Please include this observation log with any submitted applications. The program encourages students to complete more than 80 hours of observation. The admissions committee will review all applications and select those applicants deemed most qualified.
