Admission Criteria
- You must be 19 years of age to work in a casino.
- You may take the course before this, but you cannot work until you are the legal age.
- Security checks are required to take the course. However, the gaming facility may require background checks for employment.
Certification
- If you complete the online training and the final exam with a minimum of 70%, you will receive a Gaming Security Officer (GSO) certificate and a Basic Security Training (BST) certificate.
- Certificates will be issued electronically.
- Replacement certificates are available for a fee of $38.59.
Refund Policy
- Gaming Security Officer Training (SCRT-1604) is a continuous entry online course and not eligible for refunds.
