The Gaming Security Officer Training (GSO) program is designed for individuals who want to work as Gaming Security Officers in casinos and other gaming facilities in British Columbia. Admission Criteria

• You must be 19 years of age to work in a casino.
• You may take the course before this, but you cannot work until you are the legal age.
• Security checks are required to take the course. However, the gaming facility may require background checks for employment.

Certification

• If you complete the online training and the final exam with a minimum of 70%, you will receive a Gaming Security Officer (GSO) certificate and a Basic Security Training (BST) certificate.
• Certificates will be issued electronically.
• Replacement certificates are available for a fee of $38.59.

Refund Policy

• Gaming Security Officer Training (SCRT-1604) is a continuous entry online course and not eligible for refunds.
• Specifics about refunds for JIBC students are provided in our Refunds Procedure, which is part of our Tuition Policy.
