Course Format
The program consists of two courses: Bylaw Compliance, Enforcement, & Investigative Skills 1 (BLAW-1000) and Bylaw Compliance, Enforcement, & Investigative Skills 2 (BLAW-1005).
- BLAW-1000: Delivered online, with six weeks of self-paced learning followed by a one-week break and three days of virtual instructor-led learning.
- BLAW-1005: Delivered in a hybrid format, with six weeks of self-paced online learning followed by a one-week break and three days of in-person learning at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, New Westminster campus.
Course Requirements
- Attend all training in full (online and in-person).
- Complete all learning assessments, including assignments, discussions, journals, and quizzes.
- Achieve a minimum overall grade of 70%.
Tuition & Fees
- Tuition: BLAW-1000 and BLAW-1005 have separate tuition fees.
- Textbooks & Supplies: No extra book or supply costs; all required course materials are embedded online or supplied in-person.
Admission Criteria
- Grade 12 English (or equivalent education) and fluency in the English language (written and oral).
- Basic computer skills with reliable Internet access (strongly recommended).
