Program Overview

The Music - Associate of Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA) is a two-year program designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor's degree in Music. The program provides students with a solid foundation in music theory, history, and performance, and prepares them for the rigors of a university music program. Students in the program will take courses in music theory, music history, music literature, and music performance. They will also have the opportunity to participate in ensembles such as the North Seattle Symphonic Band and the College Choir. Individual instruction is also available for students who want to improve their skills on a specific instrument.
