The Specifics

Semester 1

  • Build skills around three-dimensional printing of models and images (3D) and the making of virtual environments (VR)
  • Develop skills in volumetric data capture and investigate and realise radical project proposals through collaborative interactions with peers and industry
  • Upskill in the latest advancements in AI, Web3, digital fashion, metaverse asset realisation, AR, VR, and XR
  • Trained on state-of-the-art software such as Generative AI software (Stable Diffusion), CLO3D, MD, Adobe Substance Suite, Blender, Cinema4D, Unity, Rhino, and relevant AR, VR, and XR platforms

Semester 2

  • Work through various prototypes, case studies, and experiment with digital workflows
  • Receive direct staff and industry feedback in a process designed to rapidly define your final project proposal
  • Focus on a key target market and realise an outcome that is both innovative and realistic, as well as considered from both an ethical and sustainable standpoint
  • Receive 1-2-1 sessions with digital design tutors and industry representatives to assist with project sampling, workflow, and ideation, as well as to provide constructive feedback throughout the design development process

  • Industry Project: Proof of Concept
  • New Technologies and Experimentation

Semester 3

  • Complete a statement of intent and a proposal covering your aims, objectives, and timeline for your Final Major Project (FMP)
  • Work towards an outcome focused on disruptive industry impact, demonstrating design and digital innovation, as well as showcasing technical abilities over several digital programs or platforms
  • The semester will culminate in a final presentation to major brands, industry, and press in partnership with London Fashion Week

Entry Requirements

Home

  • A lower second-class honours (a 2:2, or equivalent non-UK qualifications) or higher in a relevant subject, or an equivalent professional qualification in a related subject
  • If you are applying directly from an undergraduate degree course without experience or professional practice, you must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of your chosen subject area

  • In order to be eligible for this course, you will need to be a competent speaker and writer of English
  • If you require a Student Visa, you need to provide us with an IELTS or equivalent English language qualification, which demonstrates a minimum of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test) or CEFR Level B2 in each component
