Program Overview

The University Interdisciplinary Studies (UIS) program at the University of Hartford provides students with a broad and integrated understanding of various knowledge areas, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Through four breadth categories, students explore diverse disciplines, including the arts, social sciences, natural sciences, and technology, preparing them for a wide range of careers and active engagement in society.
