Ole Gagana Samoa (Level 2) Program Details:
Degree Overview:
- Gain a better understanding of the Samoan language and culture*
- Develop an entry-level knowledge of Samoan language and culture, with a focus on application within the community.
- Learn and practice basic Samoan communication skills, including pronunciation of key words, vocabulary, phrases, days of the week, numbers, and simple instructions.
- Gain cultural understanding through the significance of tattoo (tatau), traditional prayers (tatalo), and songs.

- Time commitment: Thursdays, 10-12pm

Entry Requirements:
Domestic Students:
- Citizenship or Residency: Must be a New Zealand Citizen or Resident.
- Age: Must be 16 years or older.
- Secondary Students: Students over 16 years old can apply with the necessary approval (ACE004).
