Program Overview

UCOL's Te Reo Māori for Beginners program provides a conversational introduction to basic Te Reo Māori language, focusing on greetings, numbers, and basic mihimihi. Open to domestic students with no entry requirements, the program is offered in various locations with flexible course timings.

• Content: The program covers a range of topics, including:
• Greetings and farewells
• Numbers
• Asking and saying how you are
• Basic mihimihi
• Pronunciation
• Marae etiquette
• Structure:
• 10 weeks duration
• 2 hours of class time per week
• Offered in various locations: Palmerston North, Whanganui, Masterton, Levin, and Marton.
• Course timings vary depending on location.
