The Academy ICT Innovation program provides secondary school learners with a foundation in IT and computing applications.   • The program consists of 24 credits.
  • It comprises 7 unit standards:
  • Use the main features and functions of a presentation application for a purpose (3 credits)
  • Produce digital images for a range of digital media (3 credits)
  • Use the main features and functions of a database application to create and test a database (3 credits)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of computing hardware, software and terminology to select digital tools for specified purposes (5 credits)
  • Implement basic security when using digital devices and software (3 credits)
  • Create a simple computer program to meet a set brief (3 credits)
