The Academy Barbering Program at UCOL provides secondary school students with hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in barbering. The program comprises 28 Credits across three modules:

  • Unit Standard 10645 (Level 3):
  • Describe the development of barbering (3 Credits)
  • Unit Standard 31946 (Level 3):
  • Demonstrate knowledge of skin and hair for barbering (5 Credits)
  • Unit Standard 10646 (Level 2):
  • Apply initial barbering techniques (20 Credits)
