- Professional Practice (15 Credits): This module equips learners with the fundamental skills and knowledge required of a makeup and skin care technician. Learners will learn about health, safety, and hygiene practices, tools and equipment, facial features, skin tones, and makeup color and design theory. Learners will learn to conduct skin consultations, determine skin type and condition, and perform skin care services in preparation for makeup application.
- Makeup Services (10 Credits): This module enables learners to perform a range of makeup services. Learners will learn to conduct client consultations, determine makeup selection, and perform makeup services. Learners will learn to consult with clients, recommend products, and describe retail hair products, fragrances, and toiletries.

- International applicants under 20 years old must have NCEA equivalency (refer to the guide held by Business Development International).
