Program Overview

The UCOL New Zealand Certificate in Primary Industry Operational Skills program equips students with the knowledge and skills to work in the primary industry sector. The program includes core courses in workplace risk management, mechanized equipment operation, and optional strands in specialist equipment or infrastructure. Through hands-on industry experience and a variety of teaching methods, students gain practical skills and prepare for careers as general hands, farm assistants, or other related roles.
