To qualify for the New Zealand Certificate in Security (Advanced) (Level 4), you must meet the following entry requirements:
Academic Requirements:
- National Certificate in Security (Level 3) or equivalent qualification, or
- Relevant industry experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the program.
Additional Requirements:
- Current First Aid certificate.
- Current Criminal Record Check.
- Physical and medical fitness to undertake the program's requirements, including practical training and assessments.
International Students:
In addition to the above requirements, international students must also demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to:
- IELTS 6.0 (with no band score lower than 5.5)
- TOEFL iBT 79
- PTE Academic 58
- Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) 169
- Other equivalent English language qualifications.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
