Program Overview

The UCOL New Zealand Certificate in Plumbing, Gasfitting and Drainlaying (Pre-Apprenticeship) (Level 3) program equips students with the skills and knowledge to enter the plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying industry. The program covers essential safety skills, patterns, tools, regulatory and ethical considerations, introduction to drainlaying, introduction to plumbing, and introduction to gasfitting. Graduates are prepared to enter an apprenticeship leading to a New Zealand Level 4 trade qualification in one or more of the plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying trades.
