Program Overview

UCOL STAR Introduction to Bakery is a one-week program for secondary school students interested in baking. It provides hands-on experience in preparing and baking basic breads, equipping students with fundamental baking skills and insights into the commercial baking industry. Successful completion serves as a steppingstone towards further studies in chef training or baking. The program is offered at UCOL Wairarapa in Masterton, Palmerston North, and Whanganui.
