  • A first or second class honours degree in music or a related field.
  • Applicants with non-standard qualifications may be considered on an individual basis.

PhD - Direct Application:

  • An MRes/MPhil degree in music or a related field.
  • Exceptionally, applicants with an exceptional honours degree or taught master's degree and significant research experience may be considered.

English Language Requirements:

  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no sub-test score below 6.0.
