Program Overview

The BSc (Hons) Sport Coaching & Development program at UWS is a 4-year full-time program that equips graduates with the knowledge and skills to work in the sports coaching and development industries. The program focuses on both the theoretical and practical aspects of coaching and development, preparing graduates for a variety of career paths. Graduates are prepared for careers in active schools and sports development, disability sports development, sports coaching, and more. The program is endorsed by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA) and has partnered with the Scottish Volleyball Association to provide students with industry-relevant coaching and development experience.
