The Master of Advanced Study program in Health Informatics is a flexible program designed to meet the needs of working professionals. The program provides a foundation in health informatics principles, health communication, health care data and databases, and health care leadership.

The program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals, with options available for students to continue their education on their own time. Core courses provide a foundation in health informatics principles, health communication, health care data and databases, and health care leadership. Electives enable students to specialize in various areas of health informatics, such as biostatistics, clinical informatics, population health, and health care artificial intelligence.

Admission Requirements
- General university admission requirements
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, such as biology, computer science, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, or public health, from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program
