The Master of Global Management (MGM) with a concentration in Public Administration is designed for future leaders who want to acquire public service skills and experience as part of their global management repertoire. This program is intended for students seeking roles within public institutions or roles that interact with those institutions, especially on matters where public policy overlaps with business or other global enterprises.
Program Description
The MGM program with a Public Administration concentration is designed to equip students with a broad skill set and solid foundational understanding of public administration, leadership, management, and policy analysis in service to the public good. This program prepares students for leadership roles in governmental and nonprofit organizations around the world.

Accelerated Program Options
This program allows students to obtain both a bachelor's and a master's degree in as little as five years. Accelerated bachelor's plus master's degree programs are designed for high-achieving students who want the opportunity to share undergraduate coursework with graduate coursework to accelerate completion of their master's degree. These programs feature the same high-quality curriculum taught by ASU's world-renowned faculty.

Admission Requirements
- General university admission requirements: All students are required to meet general university admission requirements.
- Applicants must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor's or master's degree in any subject from a regionally accredited institution.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program.

Global Opportunities
- Global experience: Students in Thunderbird's MGM program have distinct opportunities to apply and hone their learning in international settings. Experiential learning exposes Thunderbird students to actual problems faced by leaders of multinational businesses and governmental or nonprofit organizations that operate on an international level.
- Global Challenge Lab: This is a client-facing, project-based course built on a six- to seven-week immersion assignment in a key emerging or advanced market. Projects take students to destinations all over the world.
- Global Field Seminar: This one- or two-week seminar exposes students to the dynamics and nuances of doing business in a focused region of the world.
