Business Analytics, MS

The Master of Science in Business Analytics is a STEM-designated program that builds on the quantitative skills and knowledge needed to advance in the analytics career ladder. Delivered by the highly ranked W. P. Carey departments of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, this program helps students extract value from data, lead data-driven projects, and create an overall impact within business organizations.

Program Description

The program offers two formats: a full-time program designed for individuals who want to immerse themselves in full-time graduate studies, and an online delivery option designed for busy working professionals. Students can choose from five specializations to deepen their focus in one specific area: big data, cloud computing and tech consulting, fintech, marketing analytics, or supply chain analytics.

Accelerated Program Options

This program allows students to obtain both a bachelor's and a master's degree in as little as five years. Accelerated bachelor's plus master's degree programs are designed for high-achieving students who want the opportunity to share undergraduate coursework with graduate coursework to accelerate completion of their master's degree.

Admission Requirements

• General university admission requirements
• Applicants must have earned a bachelor's or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program
• All applicants must submit:

  • Proof of English proficiency

Additional Information

The 24-Month STEM OPT Extension is an additional benefit from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services that allows international students in F-1 status who receive a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in an approved STEM field to apply for a 24-month extension of their standard 12-month Post-OPT period, twice in a lifetime. This allows international students the opportunity to gain additional off-campus work experience in their field of study after completion of course studies and Post-OPT. The OPT extension does not apply to students completing a degree through ASU Online.
