The Bachelor of Science program in dietetics provides a comprehensive foundation for students aspiring to become registered dietitians. This program blends coursework in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and nutrition. Students are equipped with the knowledge to promote health through dietary interventions and readied for diverse roles in healthcare.
Program Description
The program is accredited as a Didactic Program in Dietetics by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. It prepares students to apply for a dietetic internship and related master's degree programs, both of which are required by the Commission on Dietetic Registration to sit for the registration exam.

Concurrent Program Options
Students pursuing concurrent degrees earn two distinct degrees and receive two diplomas. Working with their academic advisors, students can create their own concurrent degree combination. Some combinations are not possible due to high levels of overlap in curriculum.
Accelerated Program Options
This program allows students to obtain both a bachelor's and a master's degree in as little as five years. Accelerated bachelor's plus master's degree programs are designed for high-achieving students who want the opportunity to share undergraduate coursework with graduate coursework to accelerate completion of their master's degree.

- Use the Nutrition Care Process to make decisions, identify nutrition-related problems, and determine and evaluate nutrition interventions.
- Apply management theories to the development of programs or services.
- Demonstrate effective and professional oral and written communication and documentation.
