Introduction to the Health Care Compliance and Regulations Program
The Bachelor of Science program in Health Care Compliance and Regulations is an undergraduate degree program dedicated to the training of compliance professionals. It is the first undergraduate degree program to be accredited by the Compliance Certification Board.

Curriculum

Concurrent Program Options
Students pursuing concurrent degrees (also known as a “double major”) earn two distinct degrees and receive two diplomas. Working with their academic advisors, students can create their own concurrent degree combination.

Program Learning Outcomes
Program learning outcomes identify what a student will learn or be able to do upon completion of their program. This program’s learning outcomes include:
- Differentiate the Seven Essential Elements of an Effective Compliance Program overseen by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
- Examine health care and medical credentialing in relation to the scope of practice.
- Justify the ethical and legal reasons health care organizations may need a compliance program.
- Apply individual selected compliance plan elements to develop a corrective action plan to prevent causes of non-conformities.
