Program Overview
The Bachelor of Applied Science program with a concentration in health sciences is designed for students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science from a regionally accredited institution and wish to further their education through a health-focused bachelor's degree program.
Program Description
Students learn about health care systems and how these systems are financed and structured. Leadership and professionalism are highlighted, along with the role of providers in delivering evidence-based care. Students develop ethical and effective communication skills, analyze today's challenges, and develop innovative solutions that prepare them for careers in the health care workforce.

Concurrent Program Options
Students pursuing concurrent degrees (also known as a “double major”) earn two distinct degrees and receive two diplomas. Working with their academic advisors, students can create their own concurrent degree combination. Some combinations are not possible due to high levels of overlap in curriculum.
Admission Requirements
- General university admission requirements: All students are required to meet general university admission requirements.
- Additional requirements: Students applying to this program must have completed an AAS degree. This program is not available to first-year students.
- Transfer admission requirements: The BAS program is specifically for those who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from a regionally accredited institution.
