Program Overview

The Applied Biological Sciences (Pre-Dental) program is designed to provide undergraduate students with a strong scientific foundation for a career in dental medicine. This program prepares students to successfully complete the admission requirements for an advanced degree in dental medicine.


Program Description

The concentration in pre-dental medicine in the Bachelor of Science program in applied biological sciences emphasizes a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. The program offers specialized courses related to dental medicine, as well as opportunities for placement in internships in the field. Students contextualize knowledge through experience-based learning activities, including case studies, faculty-guided research and service-learning projects, field trips, and laboratory activities.
