Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts program in Business with a concentration in Health Care prepares students to operate within the challenging and dynamic health care industry. Students develop skills and acquire knowledge through one of the program's five specialized tracks: health care analytics, communication, coordination, innovation, and delivery.


Program Description

Students in this program gain core business skills, such as in computer information systems, accounting, basic economic theory, finance, management, marketing, and supply chain management, as well as in-depth knowledge related to the business of health care.

Concurrent Program Options

Students pursuing concurrent degrees earn two distinct degrees and receive two diplomas. Working with their academic advisors, students can create their own concurrent degree combination. Some combinations are not possible due to high levels of overlap in curriculum.


Accelerated Program Options

This program allows students to obtain both a bachelor's and a master's degree in as little as five years. Accelerated bachelor's plus master's degree programs are designed for high-achieving students who want the opportunity to share undergraduate coursework with graduate coursework to accelerate completion of their master's degree.

Admission Requirements

  • General University Admission Requirements: All students are required to meet general university admission requirements.
  • Additional Requirements: First-year admission requirements for this program are the same as the university's first-year admission requirements.
  • Transfer Admission Requirements: Transfer applicants must have a GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") for all transfer coursework and meet university transfer admission requirements.
