Program Description
The neonatal nurse practitioner concentration of the Doctor in Nursing Practice program is an advanced nursing practice degree. This program prepares graduates to provide holistic, client-centered care to neonates, infants and children within traditional, nontraditional and culturally diverse families.

Admission Requirements
- General university admission requirements
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in nursing from a nationally recognized, regionally accredited institution
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in the last 60 hours of their first bachelor's degree program or a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in an applicable master's degree program
- Submission of:
- Graduate admission application and application fee
- Official transcripts
- Three online recommendations and one self-evaluation
- Satisfactory completion of the analytical writing section of the GRE
- Proof of English proficiency
- Current unencumbered license required
- Interview with a representative of the specialty area required
