Program Overview
This 20-credit short course explores digital construction processes and technologies in the AECFM sector. It aims to bridge the gap in curricula for Industry 4.0 adoption. Through lectures, seminars, and practical work, learners develop strategic and management capabilities, professional communication skills, and a deep understanding of digital construction's potential to enhance the AECFM sector. Graduates are well-positioned for careers in digital construction management, BIM, design engineering, project management, and facilities management.

Assessment:
- Written Assignment (Coursework) [50%]: Learners will complete a 2,000-word funding application based on a provided template. This assignment will assess the learner's ability to:
- Evaluate a current sector problem or process
- Propose a digital construction process and/or technology
- Write a compelling funding application
- Presentation (Practical) [50%]: Learners will deliver a 15-minute presentation on their funding application. This presentation will assess the learner's ability to:
- Communicate effectively
- Answer questions effectively
