Program Overview

This course utilizes a combination of written assignments and presentations to evaluate student learning.
Written Assignment (Coursework) [70%]
- Coursework 1: Students analyze a transcript of real classroom interaction, focusing on teacher talk effectiveness for pedagogical purposes.
- Feedback is provided on drafts and a final report.
Presentation (Practical) [30%]
- Students present on a topic related to language learning/acquisition processes, incorporating knowledge gained in the module content.
- Presentations can cover topics like intercultural competence, bilingualism, EAL, testing and society, or English as an International language.
- Presentations are assessed using specific marking criteria.
