- This course covers the theory and practice of mediation, as well as the practical skills needed to be an effective mediator.

Structure:
- The program is offered through 8 full days, with approximately 7 contact hours per day.
- This is a block teaching format with a combination of lectures and interactive student engagement, including practicing case studies, mediation role-playing, and observer roles.
- Participants are expected to prepare by reading assigned material and completing other tasks before each day's session.

- Tuesday sessions from 09:30am - 5:30pm during Semester 1, in 2024:

- November 05, 12, 19, 26 However, the overall content and learning outcomes suggest the program would be comprised of various modules covering:

Assessment:
This program utilizes two assessment approaches:
- The assessment involves submitting end-of-day worksheets from course activities, attending at least 80% of classes (including all assessed practice days), and passing a final oral exam.
Alternative Assessment:
- If not pursuing the accredited qualification, students complete a coursework-based assessment worth 100%, which involves a 4000-word written assignment.

Language Proficiency Requirements:
Applicants whose first language is not English must meet the minimum English entrance requirements of the University and must provide recent evidence of this (certified within the last two years). Most courses require a minimum English level of IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, with no band score under 5.5. Trinity ISE: Pass at level III also meets this requirement.
