- Demonstrate knowledge of the safe use of powered equipment in a mechanical engineering or fabrication workshop (29650): This module provides students with an understanding of the different types of powered equipment used in engineering workshops, as well as the safety procedures that must be followed when using this equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of fabrication machinery, materials, and processes (29670): This module covers the different types of fabrication machinery, materials, and processes used in the engineering industry.
- Demonstrate knowledge of machining equipment, tools, and principles (29671): This module provides students with an understanding of the different types of machining equipment, tools, and principles used in the engineering industry. Students will learn how to select and use the appropriate tools and equipment for different machining operations.
