Program Overview

This one-year hairdressing program provides a foundation in salon culture, basic styling skills, color treatment basics, and health and safety protocols. It prepares graduates for entry-level positions as hair stylists, salon assistants, or color technicians. The program is free for eligible participants under the Youth Guarantee scheme and leads to the New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing (Salon Support) Level 3 qualification.
