Program Structure:
- Part-time program, completed within 4 years.
- Delivered through Ara to individuals employed in the engineering and manufacturing industry via an Ara-managed apprenticeship.
Course Schedule:
- Consists of core and elective courses across three levels (Level 3, 4, and 6).
- Level 3:
- Core courses: Mechanical Engineering Principles 1 & 2, Mechanical Engineering Practices 1 & 2, Mechanical Engineering Processes 1, Strand Based Project and/or Task 1 & 2.
- Level 4:
- Core courses: Strand Based Positional Welding, Site Installation, Mechanical Engineering Principles 3, Precision Machining 1 & 2, Strand Based Project Planning and/or Task 3.
- Elective courses: Management Practice, Advanced Fluid Power, Advanced Machining and Measurement.
