Overview
This programme introduces students to a variety of skills associated with the carpentry, joinery, civil works, and painting and decorating sectors of the construction industry. Students will develop a range of basic skills and use a variety of hand and power tools across a number of practical projects.

Academic Requirements
- To enrol, students must be in Year 11, 12 or 13 at a secondary school and a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa that allows them to be enrolled in a New Zealand secondary school.
- Students should first talk to their secondary school or with Ara about enrolling in a Dual Enrolment course.
