During the 2nd and 3rd semester, you will deep dive into the specialised modules "Fundamentals in Occupational Health & Safety" as well as "Occupational Health & Safety Procedures".

Spotlight Module: "Occupational Health & Safety Procedures"

This module introduces and applies techniques, tools and methods to ensure safety and health in the workplace. A health and safety manager has to establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems. Additional to this, he is responsible for ensuring health and safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhere to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated. Accordingly, work processes must be examined for their hazards to employees and possible prevention strategies must be developed. The planned measures are also examined and evaluated with regard to their impact on the work process and their cost contribution.
